Kaigo Retirement Communities provides high quality complex care and assisted living services and accommodations to
residents throughout the Interior and Lower Mainland. In addition to private pay suites at the sites we work in partnership
with the Health Authorities (Interior and Fraser) and BC Housing to provide subsidized affordable homelike accommodations
and programs.

It is recognized that the human spirit of Employees is truly the cornerstone of the caliber of care and service provision
and therefore impacts the success of this Strategic Plan. It is the attitude of the Employees toward the value of their
contribution to this Strategic Plan as well as the kindness of the Employees toward themselves, each other and the
community-at-large that will truly create “Partners in Caring” (Kaigo is Japanese for caring to the highest standard).
As stated by Benjamin Franklin, “The good that men may do separately is small compared with what they may do
collectively.”

In 2007 and 2010, Kaigo received full accreditation status with the standards at Accreditation Canada.
